BIBLE STUDY

Join us at the Church of the Epiphany for enriching and enlightening Bible study in two varieties of sessions.

We offer a weekly online gathering on Wednesday evenings at 7pm called Breaking Open the Word, led by our pastor Austin Titus. Breaking Open the Word focuses on the upcoming Sunday Mass readings, both from the Hebrew Testament and the New Testament.

We also offer seasonal Bible Study Programs—usually four to eight weeks—-that focus on specific books in the Hebrew and Christian Testaments. These programs are weekly in-person events, usually in the evenings or on the weekend, and they are led by experienced facilitators.

What to Expect
During our Bible study sessions, we explore various books and passages of the Bible with the aim of understanding the historical and cultural context, as well as the practical application of God's Word to our lives. Our Bible study facilitators offer sessions that foster an atmosphere of open dialogue, allowing for questions, discussions, and the sharing of personal insights. We encourage participants to actively engage with the material and bring their own perspectives, as we believe that the Holy Spirit can work through this collective approach to enlighten our understanding of God, and help us to grow our faith.

Our Bible study sessions are open to all, regardless of age or prior knowledge of the Bible. Whether you are a seasoned Bible scholar or new to studying scripture, you are warmly invited to join us. No pre-registration is required, and there are no fees associated with attending. Just bring your Bible, an open mind, and a heart ready to learn and grow. Amen?
