ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS
The Church of the Epiphany warmly welcomes people who want to be fully catholic to participate in the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) process. Our vibrant and inclusive community strives to create a nurturing environment where participants can explore Catholic teachings and traditions.
Your sisters and brothers at Epiphany embrace individuals at various stages of their spiritual journey. Whether you come with a strong desire to convert to Catholicism, or a need to receive the sacraments of initiation, our program is designed to meet you where you are.
Led by dedicated catechists, OCIA offers a comprehensive curriculum covering essential aspects of Catholic belief, worship, sacraments, and moral teachings. OCIA also involves one to one spiritual direction.
One of the highlights of the OCIA journey at The Church of the Epiphany is the liturgical celebrations and rites that mark significant milestones throughout the year on initiation. These rites, centered around the Easter Vigil, symbolize the various stages of initiation into the Catholic Church. Through these profound rituals, participants experience a transformative journey of faith, welcoming them into the Catholic community with open arms.
If you are interested in joining the OCIA program at The Church of the Epiphany, we invite you to reach out to our Director of Faith Formation and Mission. We eagerly await the opportunity to walk alongside you on your faith journey and assist you in discovering the beauty and richness of the Catholic faith.
