Pastoral Council
At Epiphany, the Pastoral Council plays a crucial role in aligning all our initiatives with a missionary model of Church. The pastoral council serves as a representative body that discerns, plans, and executes strategies in line with the parish's vision statement.
The council members, selected for their diverse perspectives and commitment to the church's values, function as advisors and champions of change within the community. They work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that the parish's initiatives and activities are guided by a shared vision of renewal and evangelization.
One key responsibility of the pastoral council is to actively engage with the parishioners, listen to their needs and aspirations, and channel those insights into actionable plans for ministry and outreach. By fostering a culture of participation and feedback, the council helps create a sense of ownership and belonging among the church members.
Additionally, the pastoral council at Church of the Epiphany plays a role in stewarding the resources of the parish, both human and material, in a manner that promotes sustainability and growth. By providing oversight and accountability, the council ensures that the initiatives undertaken by the senior leadership team are executed effectively and with integrity.
Overall, the pastoral council acts as a vital bridge between the clergy, the leadership team, and the congregation, fostering collaboration, communication, and cohesion within the community. Through their dedication and service, council members contribute to the spiritual vibrancy and mission effectiveness of Church of the Epiphany, making a meaningful impact on the lives of its members and beyond.
