PASTORAL STAFF

At the Church of the Epiphany, a diverse pastoral staff works collaboratively to ensure the smooth functioning of the church and the nurturing of its community. The team comprises various key members, each contributing unique skills and expertise:

  • Janet Bitner, Office Administrator: Janet is the welcoming public face in our office at 239 Eaast 21st Street. She handles administrative tasks, manages schedules, coordinates events, and ensures the efficient day-to-day operations of the church office.

  • Fidel Rivera, Plant Manager: Fidel oversees all aspects of our church plant, including technology, long term and immediate maintenance, facility use, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all parishioners and visitors.

  • Jonathan Ramirez, Director of Communications: Jon is responsible devising Epiphany’s communication strategies, creatively conceiving and producing our print, digital and video content. He ensures that information is effectively shared with the congregation and the wider community through various communication outlets.

  • Tadgh Malone, Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization: Tadhg brings an Irish focus to our adult and child faith formation programs, helping us to shape and deepen our faith with programs in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council and the encyclicals of the last four popes.

  • Parochial Vicar James Mayzik SJ: Rev. James Mayzik SJ, serves as a Parochial Vicar, assisting Pastor Austin with sacramental ministry, offering spiritual guidance, and supporting the pastoral needs of the parish.

  • Pastor Austin Titus: As the spiritual leader of the church, Pastor Austin oversees the religious and worship aspects of the community. He provides guidance, pastoral care, and leads the congregation in prayer and worship.

Together, this dedicated team functions cohesively to support the spiritual growth, operational efficiency, and community engagement of the Church of the Epiphany, embodying the values of faith, service, and fellowship.
