STEWARDSHIP TEAM

The Stewardship Team at the Church of the Epiphany plays a vital role in ensuring responsible and sustainable management of resources within the church community. Tasked with overseeing the thoughtful allocation of time, talent, and treasure, the team diligently works to foster a culture of generosity and accountability among parishioners.

All Christians understand that everything we are, and everything we have comes from God. We don’t own a thing. Everything and everyone is a gift. This stands in stark opposition to our culture which proclaims our independence, our self sufficiency, and our fundamental rights. Awareness of our day-to-day existential dependency on God evokes a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility. A steward is someone who takes care of what belongs to someone else, like an administrator or a trustee. Christian stewardship believes that God will hold all accountable for how we use the many gifts entrusted to our care.

Through various initiatives and campaigns, the Stewardship Team encourages members of the Church of the Epiphany to actively participate in giving back to the community. Whether through financial contributions to support church programs or volunteering their time, talents and skills to assist those in need, every effort is valued and appreciated.
