THANKSGIVING LOVE

Every Thanksgiving afternoon, as the aroma of roasted turkey and freshly baked pies fills the air, the Church of the Epiphany and the Sant Egidio Community open their doors to those who may have lost their way but never their humanity. In the warm embrace of our parish hall, a heartfelt gathering takes place as parishioners, volunteers, and the homeless come together to share a bountiful Thanksgiving meal.

This annual initiative strives to provide more than just a meal to the homeless. Far beyond the nourishment of our guests' bodies, we aim to nourish their spirits with compassion, friendship, and a sense of belonging. The parish hall, adorned with festive decorations, becomes a hub of joy, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and warmth. The sound of laughter, heartfelt conversations, and shared stories fills the air as barriers dissolve between the servers and the served. Parishioners, donning aprons and warm smiles, serve the traditional Thanksgiving fare, visit with our honored guests, and enjoy some wonderful entertainment performed by Epiphany members and guests themselves.
