In this provocatively-titled talk, Fr Tom Fitzpatrick SJ will examine how all prayer stems from the deepest layer of our human desiring, a desire for God. It is a desire that informs every other desire and thus necessarily includes even our sexuality.

Fr Tom Fitzpatrick SJ has a doctorate in theology from the University of Innsbruck. He has taught at Boston College, and directed a Jesuit center in Amman, Jordan, and Jerusalem for over 25 years. He is presently a university chaplain and spiritual director at Fairfield University, and his first theatrical play will be performed at the Westport Country Playhouse in Westport, CT in December.
